Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Technician for our client. This job is responsible for assembling, inspecting, packaging, and documenting medical devices in a clean room environment while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Assemble and package medical devices according to documented procedures
- Perform visual inspections of components, subassemblies, and finished devices
- Complete quality documentation accurately using Good Documentation Practices
- Maintain clean room standards and complete controlled-environment cleaning activities
- Support production through material handling, counting, recording, and packaging
- Work as part of a quality-focused team where every technician owns the quality of the finished product
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write fluently in English
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-evolving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in an FDA-regulated or other government-regulated environment
- Familiarity with GMPs and/or SOPs
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook and web browsing
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and policies
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to stay current on required online training
- Work the full shift in an ISO Class 8 or higher clean room while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
- Wear clean room gowns, hair nets, gloves, safety glasses, and shoe covers for extended periods
- Handle small parts using hands, tweezers, and magnification or visual aids
- Perform repetitive assembly motions for extended periods
- Sit and stand for extended periods
- Operate mechanical machinery and inspection equipment
- Perform cleaning duties in manufacturing areas as assigned
