We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling units using work orders or instructions, pulling parts from inventory, and preparing part kits for shipment. Your expertise in fastening parts together using various tools and ensuring a clean workspace will be invaluable.
Responsibilities
- Assemble units using work orders or instructions.
- Pull parts from inventory to assemble part kits and prepare them for shipment.
- Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, and other fasteners.
- Utilize hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers to assemble parts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace.
- Follow visual work orders displayed on computers and tablets at each station.
Essential Skills
- 6 months or more of manufacturing experience (assembly, machine operating, quality, etc.).
- Proficiency in using hand tools and reading blueprints.
- Experience in mechanical assembly and machine building.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience in general production and power tool usage.
- Ownership or willingness to purchase steel-toed shoes prior to start date.

Work Environment
The assembly area is clean and organized, designed to support efficient workflow with a 5S system. You will have access to the latest technology, including computers and tablets at each station, to assist with visual work orders. We offer a supportive and inclusive culture where all team members are respected. Work schedules are Monday to Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. First shift runs from 5 am to 3 pm, and the second shift from 3 pm to 1 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
