A recycling company is looking for a Scale Operator (data entry clerk / cashier). This is an entry-level position consisting of a range of clerical and operational duties. The candidate will report directly to the supervisor or manager and must be able to function with minimal supervision. Work in this position requires the ability to multitask.
Location: Houston, Texas 77020
Pay: $17/hr.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am - 4:30 pm
Duties:
Assisting customers at the scale and the cashier office.
Handling data entry, cashier duties, and record keeping. Will be trained on the scale.
Accurately performing data entry. Answer phones and file paperwork as needed.
It's a floating position. You will need to drive to different locations to fill in for an employee. (mileage compensated)
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred.
Excellent customer service, some cash handling experience.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
