Hospice Sales Representative Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain contacts and relationships with referral sources for hospice clients, including
- Assisted Living Facilities, physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community resources, and other appropriate community resources
- Prepare and conduct presentations to prospective clients
- Implement account development strategies to sell and secure growth in account market share with large complex referral and payer organizations
- Use customer relationship management system to track and report on activity as well as monitor account development status and plan next steps; reviews reports and activity with supervisor on a regular basis
- In conjunction with the Business Development Manager, establish and monitor the process to track all referral activity, including sources and disposition
- Work a key account plan established and modified in conjunction with the Business Development
- Manager
- Meet with appropriate operational managers to monitor customer service levels and review identified target accounts
- May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department
- Meet minimum productivity standards as established and documented in Addendum to this description
Hospice Sales Representative Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (or related field) or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience or transferable customer facing role, preferably in healthcare services
- Excellent communication skills, goal-driven mentality and demonstrated history to work independently
