Honest Hour is seeking a warm, grounded, clinically skilled Clinical Supervisor to provide high-quality supervision, clinical oversight, mentorship, and values-driven leadership to our growing team of clinicians. This role supports both the clinical quality of the practice and Honest Hour’s presence in the community.
The Clinical Supervisor will maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 20–22 clients per week, while also providing weekly supervision to LMSWs and supporting clinical quality across the practice.
You will balance your clinical work, supervision responsibilities, and light leadership tasks in close collaboration with Honest Hour’s CEO and administrative team. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing both clinical work and supervisory duties as part of a hybrid clinician-supervisor position. This is a remote position with flexible hours, strong administrative support, and a highly collaborative environment.
We use a differentiated compensation model: one rate for clinical work, one for supervision, and one for admin/leadership.
Compensation:
$60 - $70 hourly
Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision & Oversight
- Provide individual supervision to LMSWs and other pre-licensed clinicians
- Facilitate group supervision or case consultation meetings
- Support clinicians with treatment planning, conceptualization, and professional development
- Offer real-time consultation for risk assessment and safety planning
- Review documentation for completeness and clinical appropriateness
Clinical Quality & Program Development
- Ensure documentation meets practice standards
- Support the onboarding of new clinicians
- Collaborate with leadership on clinical training needs
- Uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive care across the team
Community Engagement & Marketing
- Attend 1–2 community or professional events per quarter (virtual or in-person)
- Participate in relational outreach as a clinical representative of the practice
- Support clinicians in meeting their marketing expectations
- Contribute to practice visibility (e.g., panels, workshops, networking) when appropriate
Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO and the administrative team
- Provide feedback and clinical insights to support operational decisions
- Participate in occasional hiring interviews for clinical roles
Clinical Care
- Maintain a steady caseload of 20–22 clients per week
Qualifications:
Required
- LCSW or LCSW-R
- Must meet NY state requirements for clinical supervision
- 3–5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Experience with trauma-informed, relational, or culturally responsive modalities
- Confident managing risk and safety planning
- Strong documentation and clinical organization skills
- Excellent communication and emotional attunement
- Values-aligned with Honest Hour
Preferred
- Experience supervising in group practice or community mental health settings
- Training in modalities such as IFS, EMDR, EFT, CBC, DBT, ERP, or similar
- Experience supporting BIPOC, first-gen, or financially stressed populations
- Familiarity with Simple Practice
- Dually Licensed in NJ or willigness to get licensed in NJ
