Job Description
Seeking an experienced printing production associate to join a well-established printing company. This is a well-established commercial printing company in Hillsboro, Oregon that produces a wide range of printed materials for clients.
This role is a great fit for someone who wants to be involved in multiple areas of the bindery department and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment producing magazines, pamphlets, and booklets.
In this temp-to-hire position, you will work in the bindery department creating a variety of printed products while supporting different machines and processes. Your work will play an important role in ensuring high-quality finished products for customers. This is a great opportunity to build your skills, gain stability, and grow within a reputable company.
Printing Production Associate Duties:
- Set up and operate a stitcher to produce 8.5 by 11 magazines and booklets
- Run a 40-inch cutter as needed
- Box finished product for shipment
- Assist with operating the folder when needed
- Support work in the digital bindery department
Schedule: Day Shift
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Pay: $22-$27 per hour
Printing Production Associate Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience operating a stitcher in a bindery environment
- Experience operating a cutter in a bindery setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
