Job Description
Linen production & distribution company based in Staten Island NY, with production facilities in Egypt, is seeking a reliable and capable warehouse worker. Must be able to adapt to changing demands and needs while maintaining composure to changing needs.
Our product lines include: Bedding (sheets pillowcases, pillows, mattress pad, encasements, pillow tops, etc.), terry (all towel products), rugs, shower curtains, robes, slippers
General Overview
- Stack pallets per order
- Read invoice/shipping list
- Work independently
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift and bend- minimum-50lbs
What you need to succeed:
- Ability to work well independently
- Must have at least 2 years' related experience.
- Operate a forklift and function alongside the operation via manual labor
- Must have knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes.
- Must have knowledge of safety programs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as bill of lading and invoices
- May be required to work longer days
- Spanish language ability helpful
- Reliable/commitment to job
