Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, on-site position within school districts in the Lexington, NC area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on students communication skills and educational success.

Position Overview:

• Location: Lexington, North Carolina

• Type: Full-Time, On-Site

• Contract: Remainder of the school year (renewal based on performance)

• Start Date: Immediate

Minimum Requirements (North Carolina):

Qualified candidates must have:

• A valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

• A North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) license with appropriate school-based SLP certification

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered

• Strong understanding of IEP development and IDEA compliance

• Ability to complete all necessary background and fingerprinting checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students

• Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning

• Provide support and training to staff as needed
