Position Overview:

Minimum Requirements (North Carolina):
Qualified candidates must have:
-
A valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
-
A North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) license with appropriate school-based SLP certification
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
-
Strong understanding of IEP development and IDEA compliance
-
Ability to complete all necessary background and fingerprinting checks
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
-
Provide support and training to staff as needed
