Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales Representative based in Auburn, AL, with the flexibility to work from home periodically. The role involves identifying and developing sales opportunities, consulting with clients to recommend suitable energy solutions, and achieving set sales targets. The Technical Sales Representative will also provide training and support to customers, address inquiries, and build long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction. A more detailed list of responsibilities include:


· Responsible for driving sales activities and achieving defined revenue targets within the assigned region

or customer segment.

· Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans in alignment with company objectives and

market opportunities.

· Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

· Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity management to contract

negotiation and closing.

· Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive customer engagement and market analysis.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

· Collaborate closely with internal departments such as marketing, customer service, and senior

management to support business growth.

· Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to ensure target achievement.

· Represent the company at trade fairs, customer events, conferences, and industry meetings, both digitally

and in person.

· Ensure professional customer relationship management with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and

long-term partnerships.

· Continuously optimize sales approaches, processes, and account development activities to improve

overall sales performance.



Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Technical Sales and Sales with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent Communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively
  • Experience in conducting Training sessions and providing product demonstrations
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the energy, technology, or automotive industry is a plus
  • A self-disciplined entrepreneurial professional with an owners mindset
  • Be willing to build and deploye defined standards where few if any exist
