Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll perform routine service visits to customer sites to validate and optimize water treatment programs. You'll conduct field testing, inspect systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide outstanding customer support. Your technical skills and ability to build strong customer relationships will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned customer accounts to conduct water treatment analyses and equipment inspections.
  • Monitor chemical treatment systems, adjust feed rates, and calibrate pumps, sensors, and probes.
  • Troubleshoot basic plumbing and electrical issues on-site.
  • Document service visits accurately using Salesforce and maintain regular communication with customers.
  • Escalate issues that require further chemical or equipment adjustments.
  • Support special projects and assist in equipment installations as needed.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Track and manage chemical inventories at customer sites.
  • Follow all health, safety, and compliance policies-yours and the customer's.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in water treatment, HVAC, chemicals, or mechanical systems preferred.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • May occasionally need to bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, and grasp objects.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and work at elevated heights for prolonged periods.
  • Regularly required to drive to customer locations, including both short and long distances.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and safely maneuvering chemical drums weighing 250-550 pounds using appropriate equipment and lifting techniques.

These physical demands represent those typically required to perform the essential duties of this role.
