Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking a ***Dental Hygienist***.
Working experience is a bonus but New Graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply
This is a PART TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability for 2 days per week (preferably Tuesday and Wednesday, but flexible: office open Mon-Thurs), between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch), located in Virginia Beach, VA (23454).
Responsibilities :
A Day in the Life of a Dental Hygienist :
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while following all HIPAA laws and regulations in a dental office setting. Your role will focus primarily on supporting the hygiene department and ensuring patients receive thorough and professional preventative care.Responsibilities include performing routine dental cleanings, assisting with periodontal maintenance, documenting patient care in charts (EHR), educating patients on oral hygiene, and supporting the dentist and team as needed. Scaling and root planning (SRP) is a plus but not required. Taking X-rays is also a bonus, though not required for this position. This role does not require administering local anesthesia or injections. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Requirements for the Dental Hygienist:Required: Working experience is a bonus but New Graduates will be considered (must be a graduate from an accredited program)
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to provide compassionate patient care
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience performing SRP (Scaling and Root Planning) is a bonus
Experience taking dental X-rays is a bonus
Benefits:
