Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children and adults to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to speech production, as well as experience in early intervention and pediatric care. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Duties
- Collaborate effectively with a team of therapists, educators, caregivers
- Conduct assessments, write reports, attend IEP meetings and supervise
- Thrive in an environment driven by innovation, education and teamwork
- Communicate with assistants, intervene with students and clients
- Execute programs that result in student achievements and best clinical outcomes
Skills
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
- Proficient in anatomy and physiology related to speech production.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and understanding early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify communication disorders effectively.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Adaptability to work in various settings including schools, clinics, or home environments.
