About this IN PERSON Role

  • This person is the first contact for patients so welcomes callers and visitors promptly and warmly to facilitate great customer service
  • Handling the scheduling and confirmation of appointments to maximize the practice team’s time with patient care
  • Triage callers’ needs providing information and assistance or ensuring a follow up by a practitioner
  • Establish new patient profiles in the EMR system as necessary, while ensuring all current patient information is accurate and complete.
  • Move patients through the intake and checkout process. Including collection of payment and other administrative details
  • Prepare patient charts, confirm and maintain patient records in EMR System
  • Coordinate patient medical records with partner care offices.
  • Prepare and process correspondence, answering routine medical administrative inquiries and draft letters for physicians, attorneys and partner care offices
  • Liaison with attorneys’ offices regarding depositions, medical records and appointments
  • Assist or direct patients for questions about medical care, billing or other needs
  • Support the management team with tasks throughout the practice as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ IN PERSON experience as a Front Office or PCC of a private medical practice handling phones, appointments and patient requests
  • Ability to initiate conversations and ask probing questions to gain key information to facilitate patient needs
  • Computer proficiency including experience using an EMR system for patient records and scheduling
  • Professional level of writing including proper word use and sentence structure to facilitate email and letter writing to patients, attorneys and outside partner care offices
  • Comfort working with VIP clients handling special requests as needed
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, find solutions and accomplish duties with minimal guidance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Compensation, Benefits * Schedule:

  • Starting at $30.00 per hour
  • Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Parking and 3 sets of scrubs yearly
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4pm
