Job Description
Join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular Sonographer) in Hilo, HI at a hospital setting, performing vascular ultrasound examinations, patient preparation, documentation of results, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
\n
- National certification in vascular ultrasound from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred). Preferred certifications may include RVT or RDMS vascular credentials.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound in an acute hospital setting. Experience performing vascular studies independently per physician protocols is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with hospital EMR systems, specifically Meditech, preferred.
- Experience with CT equipment from Canon/Toshiba and Vitrea workstations preferred, if cross-coverage with CT duties is expected.
- State licensure requirements: Candidates must possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer prior to or by the start of assignment if performing CT duties. Candidates not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance of offer and obtain licensure before assignment start.
- Proof of seasonal influenza vaccination or an approved facility medical or religious exemption required prior to contract start. Vaccination may be completed during employee health clearance.
