We are seeking a Distribution Designer for a 12 month contract to hire position. This individual will be responsible for utility design, permitting coordination, field investigations, and preparation of construction-ready distribution packages for overhead and underground electrical systems throughout Lee County and the surrounding Southwest Florida region.The ideal candidate will have experience performing distribution design work for utility providers, engineering firms, telecommunications providers, municipalities, land development projects, or infrastructure improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of distribution design experience within utility, telecommunications, civil infrastructure, land development, or related industries.
- Experience preparing construction drawings and design packages.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plats, surveys, and utility records. Experience performing field investigations and site walks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Lee County and surrounding areas.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $32/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
