Duties and Essential Functions

  • Perform minor routine maintenance on carpentry, equipment, and facilities as needed.
  • Identify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. If necessary, escalate issues to a certified licensed partner.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Communicate clearly with management regarding findings, safety concerns, and repair needs.
  • Observe all State, Federal, and company safety standards/precautions to maintain a safe work environment.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Maintenance Director to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.

  • You’re a hands-on, dependable problem-solver who takes pride in keeping buildings and equipment running safely and efficiently. You’re comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and you respond quickly to issues to minimize downtime.
  • You work well independently, communicate clearly with teammates and occupants, and consistently follow safety standards while keeping accurate maintenance records

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The job operates outdoors in a outdoor environment and in a professional office environment.

Physical Demands

This position may require physical activity, including lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs ladders, and working in various environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company.

Travel

Some travel will be required to attend properties, company sponsored meetings and trainings.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Experience with HOAs, Multifamily, or Property Maintenance.
  • 2-4 years of general experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Carpentry skills and experience.
  • Inspection and punch list experience.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the maintenance field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel in own vehicle.
