Title: Electronics Technician IV

Location: Lynwood, WA (Onsite)

Duration: Perm

Salary: $89,700-$101,000

Must Haves:

10-15+ years of Electronic Technician experience

Associate’s degree (AA) in Electronic Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related discipline

Current or expired IPC soldering certification

Proven ability to test and troubleshoot down to the component level

Strong knowledge of circuitry and/or mechanical systems

Experience working within a manufacturing or repair environment, including familiarity with product flow and computer‐based systems

Background supporting power products in commercial and/or military environments

Ability to quickly learn new test software and equipment, identify abnormal product or equipment conditions, and work across multiple systems (e.g., time entry, PDM, MRP)

Plusses:

Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques used to optimize manufacturing and distribution

Practical knowledge of engineering electronics, science, and technology, including the application of principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment in product design and production

Working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including relevant applications and programming

Day to Day:

The Technician IV Electronics works under limited supervision to test, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and calibrate complex electronic and mechanical products and systems. This role involves interpreting blueprints, schematics, work orders, and test procedures; performing both automated and manual testing; and troubleshooting production issues down to the component level. The technician documents results, generates non‐conformance reports, and supports quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes maintaining test documentation, supporting cross‐program testing, mentoring less‐experienced technicians, and flexibly supporting production needs, including overtime when required.
