Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician where you will perform deburring, detailing, assembly, and testing of accumulators. You will have the opportunity to work on standard, special, and custom accumulators while maintaining tools and assembly equipment. Your role will involve completing and filing inspection and test reports, and you may assist with final product operations such as painting, rust prevention, packing, and crating.
Responsibilities
- Perform deburring, detailing, assembly, and testing of accumulators.
- Assist with detailing, assembly, and testing of accumulators.
- Work on standard, special, and custom accumulators.
- Complete and file inspection and test reports.
- Maintain tools and assembly equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Perform or assist with final product operations including painting, rust prevention, packing, and crating.
- Work from drawings, parts lists, specifications, and instruction manuals.
- Use basic shop mathematics and a variety of inspection tools and gauges.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in assembly, hand tools, and power tools.
- Mechanical assembly experience of around 1 year.
- Blueprint reading experience of around 1 year.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Experience with welding, schematics, installation, and repair.
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge of measuring tools, assembly processes, and machine operation.

Work Environment
You may start on the 3rd shift from day one, with hours from 10:30 PM to 7 AM, Sunday to Friday. Alternatively, work the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, with orientation depending on the supervisor's schedule. Be prepared for additional full days on Friday, occurring three or possibly four times a month. Steel-toed boots, ear plugs, and safety goggles are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40170.00 - $40170.00/yr.
Pay increase once hired in full time then they get an increase every 6 months % increase that depends on their performance Retirement investment account - April to December they will evaluate. Company puts 3% into their account through Fidelity during 1st quarter of the following year 1st day benefits 401k – 5% Company match Bonus payout quarterly Large corporation with a small time feel locally.
