Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services within an elementary school setting in Fremont, CA. This contract position extends through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, offering a dynamic teaching environment across two elementary school sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of up to 28 elementary students requiring special education support.
- Providing direct instructional services tailored to individual education plans.
- Conducting assessments for IEP eligibility and triennial reviews.
- Coordinating and managing IEP case documentation and compliance.
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to support student growth and success.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid California Teaching Credential with appropriate special education certification.
- Proven experience in IEP case management and delivering direct educational services in a Resource Specialist Program.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple student needs and documentation.
- Ability to assess and interpret educational evaluations and eligibility criteria.

Location and schedule:
- Onsite position based in Fremont, CA.
- Full-time hours from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
- Work will take place across two elementary school sites to be determined within the area.
