Brief Description of Duties:
-
Must be able to read, write, and speak English and poses basic Math skills
-
Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors
-
Must be able to work in cold environment with a constant 38-40 degree temperature for up to 8 hours+ a day with appropriate insulated clothing
-
Must be able to stand on a daily basis for 8 hours a day
-
Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
-
Must apply effective Food Hygiene practices
-
Must have ability to apply safety and sanitation standards

Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
-
Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire work shift
-
Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
-
Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment ( nights, weekends, holidays)

Must have ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment
Required Abilities:
-
May assist with assembling and packing raw and/or cooked food items in accordance with specifications and USDA/FDA/HACCP standards
-
Performs job duties in a timely manner to ensure smooth and efficient production flow

Washes, cleans, and cuts raw food products in accordance with established Company and Customer procedures
-
Maintains proper temperatures of all food products
-
Ensures all food products are properly labeled, dated, and rotated (FIFO)
-
Assumes other related duties as required
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Must be in current position for 60 days. Good attendance record
-
Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral
-
Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
-
Must be a team player
