Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This special education teaching opportunity is designed for dedicated educators passionate about supporting students from grades K-12 in a variety of classroom settings. Location: Fargo, ND
Contract Term: January 2026 through June 2026
Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Caseload: Special Education students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Deliver instruction in self-contained and resource classroom environments, adapting methods to various learning styles
- Collaborate closely with parents, administrators, and support staff to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance requirements
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to foster social, emotional, and academic growth
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active State Teaching License with a focus on Special Education
- Experience teaching students in grades K-12, specifically within special education programs
- Ability to manage multiple classroom settings, including self-contained and resource classrooms
- Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
