A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy and school settings. This position focuses on delivering quality speech and language services to K-8 students within a vibrant Minneapolis, MN munity, specifically serving Native populations. With a tentative caseload of under 20 students, there is ample opportunity to make a significant impact on student outes while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students in K-8 grades.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Conduct teletherapy sessions, utilizing digital tools to engage students in meaningful ways.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation in pliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current certification of clinical petence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with Native populations and understanding of cultural considerations is preferred.
- Proficient in teletherapy practices with a strong fort level in using technology for remote sessions.
- Valid state licensure and background check as required for school settings.
