Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers you the chance to provide comprehensive nursing care to students in a K-12 ESY (Extended School Year) program. Working Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 2PM, you’ll enjoy a steady daytime schedule, totaling 22 hours per week. You’ll play an important role helping foster a healthy learning atmosphere for students throughout the summer.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Previous school nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to assess student health needs and respond to urgent situations
- Skilled in administering medications and performing basic medical procedures
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with K-12 or pediatric populations is a plus
In this position, you will:
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students participating in the ESY program
- Manage daily health needs, including medication administration and documentation
- Monitor and respond to student health concerns, injuries, or illnesses during program hours
- Collaborate with school personnel and parents to ensure students’ health plans are followed
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with regulations
