Panel Shop Technician Foreman

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Interpreting wiring schematics and panel drawings.
  • Assist with material take-offs and compiling material orders
  • Wiring PLCs and other electrical components to terminal blocks.
  • Designing and laying out panels.
  • Assist with capturing red-lines and asbuilts as required
  • Take ownership of the QAQC program that is in place for panels
  • Assign Junior Panel Techs daily/weekly tasks
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Panel Techs
  • Assist with the weekly and monthly build schedule
  • Working to UL508A and NEC standards.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and organizing shipments.
  • Assist with the RFQ process
  • Arranging and labeling inventory.
  • Assisting with housekeeping duties to maintain shop safety.



Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous panel shop experience, or Journeyman Electrician.
  • Ability to read drawings and build to specification.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Hard worker with a desire to learn.
  • Willingness to work under supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt as job scopes change.
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Ability to see color (This is to identify the color of wires being installed in their correct places)
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.



Working Conditions:

  • This position is based in our Midland shop.
  • MondayFriday schedule with 8-hour days and potential overtime.
