Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will be primarily responsible for CAD design work, assist in machine/process troubleshooting, new equipment implementation, and other projects as directed.


Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Create models and drawings of products, parts, fixtures, and tooling for machinists and tool room staff to follow.
  • Collaborate with tool room staff on CAD to CAM to workflows.
  • Program and troubleshoot Epson and Fanuc robots.
  • Document processes and validate dimensions.
  • Systematically troubleshoot production equipment/tooling issues.
  • Coordinate implementation of new equipment.
  • Work with maintenance team to reduce machine downtime.
  • Lead and be a member of continuous improvement project teams.
  • Work on research and development projects as directed.
  • Proliferate a culture of data and evidence-based decision making.
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement.
  • Stay current with changing technology, including CAD software and production programs.
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
