Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education Teacher position is located in La Vista, NE, serving a school environment. The role requires a dedicated educator to support students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and collaborative planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that accommodate students with special needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in compliance with state and district policies.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nebraska Special Education teaching certification is required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and use data to guide instruction.
