Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: 6am to 6pm - 3*12 hour shifts
Express Employment Professionals - Woodbury, MN is partnering with a rapidly growing printing company in the East Metro area to add a reliable and detail-oriented Press Assistant/Catcher to their team!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, fast-paced work and has strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
What You'll Do:
- Load raw materials (paper, inks, glues, etc.) into feeders, hoppers, and bins to maintain a steady production flow.
- Assist in setting up printing equipment and making adjustments to feeder mechanisms based on material size.
- Deliver and install printing components such as plates or spray heads.
- Recycle and store used or discarded plates.
- Support press operators with make-ready tasks, including retrieving, hanging, and organizing plates.
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe at all times.
What You Bring:
- Computer literate with strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using rulers, measurements, and basic math for precise adjustments.
- Able to understand, read, and speak English clearly for safe and accurate communication.
- Basic understanding of presswork procedures and materials (on-the-job training provided).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, hand carts, and similar warehouse tools.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous printing or production experience is a plus, but not required!
