Client Overview

Our client is a leader in the automotive industry and is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. They boast an excellent training and team environment, eligibility for commission and bonuses, and growth and development throughout the organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$20/hr

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will handle a high volume of inbound calls, accurately route callers, and efficiently schedule and manage service appointments. This role serves as a primary point of contact between guests and the dealership, creating a positive first impression while meeting quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction standards. Shifts are available between 7 am - 9 pm, with a rotating Saturday required.

Responsibilities Of The Customer Service Representative

  • Provide consistently outstanding service to internal and external guests by setting a professional, guest-focused first impression.
  • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Gather caller information, identify needs, and route calls to the appropriate dealership, department, or individual.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage service appointments, ensuring accuracy of guest and vehicle information.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, processes, availability, hours of operation, and dealership offerings.
  • Assist guests with general questions about services, dealership information, and contact center procedures.
  • Accurately document call details and outcomes (messages, call notes, basic guest information) following department procedures.

Required Experience/Skills For The Customer Service Representative

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Professional phone etiquette and clear, courteous verbal communication.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience/Skills For The Customer Service Representative

  • Experience working in a call center environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding metrics and goals.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma is required.
