Overview

The MRP Planner is responsible for managing material requirements through the effective use of ERP/MRP systems to ensure timely availability of materials and shop order requisitions in line with production schedules and business demand. The role supports operational execution by aligning material flow with production forecasts and demand settings, managing planning data, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and system accuracy. This ensures production continuity, supports accurate demand coverage, and promotes an optimised planning flow while minimising exceptions and planning errors.

Requirements

· Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferably IFS) in a supply chain or manufacturing environment

· Strong attention to detail and accurate data handling

· Understanding of supply requisition processes and planning parameters

· Working knowledge of inventory control and stock planning

· Proficient in Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables)

· Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset

· Ability to interpret BOMs and understand production structures
