Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and strong skills in caring for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical care.

This role requires a dependable clinician who can thrive in a collaborative environment while delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, telemetry staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support patient education and discharge planning initiatives
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license required

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
