Position Summary:
In this role, you will support the manufacturing engineering group with a focus on equipment maintenance and process troubleshooting. This position requires the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment failures and the ability to and follow equipment assembly, qualification, and preventative maintenance instructions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to manufacturing.
- Interface with production personnel to actively troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues or escalate appropriately.
- Perform preventative maintenance and qualifications on equipment of intermediate complexity.
- Create and implement process improvements with engineering and production.
- Assist engineers with component and tooling implementation for production, including but not limited to equipment validation.
- Strict attention to detail in following instructions and creating documentation.
- Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws and standards.
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
Requirements:
- At least one year of assembly or equipment maintenance experience, preferably in a medical device environment
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with computer use, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Office 365
- Mechanical aptitude/trouble shooting abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources
- Ability to easily adapt to new tasks
- Able to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to read and understand simple mechanical drawings
