Salary: $100K - $125K
We are a leading commercial contracting company specializing in high-quality interior projects, and we are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a major retail interior fit-out within a busy East Brunswick shopping mall. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team delivering standout commercial spaces.
As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the on-site management and successful delivery of the project from mobilization through completion. You will ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all site activities and subcontractors
- Oversee project scheduling, logistics, and daily planning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications
- Work closely with project managers, trades, mall operations, and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly
- Track project progress and report regularly on performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial interior construction
- Strong background in retail or shopping mall fit-outs preferred
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- OSHA or similar construction safety certification is a plus
