We’re looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support employees across the organization and help ensure smooth HR operations. What You’ll Do
- Assist employees with benefit and payroll-related inquiries, including pay, deductions, and tax withholding.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Support onboarding, qualifying life events, and open enrollment.
- Assist with benefit billing and ensure timely, accurate payments.
- Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Reconcile invoices and financial data; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to build trust and resolve concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality during investigations and issue resolution.
- Perform clerical tasks and manage internal communications.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate logistics for HR events and meetings.
- Support all HR functions with a flexible, team-oriented approach.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies, employment laws, and safety standards.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in payroll processing, HR support, or clerical roles preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including garnishments.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
