Job Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner to support the Digital Interactive Business Marketing Team for web apps, mobile apps, and APIs as well as other Dev projects. This BSA will support a Sr. Manager of the Interactive Marketing team and will be an on-site position supporting our teams in our Fountain Valley, California location during normal Pacific Time business hours. Applicants should be LOCAL to the Orange County, California area. Must have experience working in large organizations, supporting Agile and Waterfall SDLCs, and have a strong understanding of Application Development as a BSA/Product Owner.

A day in the life includes... Experience with app development would be helpful. This position has both creative development and development integration between our sites/services/apps and those of our vendor/partners, and integration of their white-label apps into our own apps. We need someone to product manage and draft and update requirements documentations, but also interface with the project managers. This will require a lot of follow-up with our technology partners for the API integrations and SDK integrations into the our Apps.

This is a full-time contract position with the possibility for long term growth.

Requirements, experience, degrees, etc.

Technical Business analysis, especially in enterprise Application Development and integrations of APIs such as Postman
Creating Functional and technical spec documentation (BRDs, Gap Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, Work Flow Diagrams)
Documentation of user flows, in collaboration with vendor partners
Creating Epics and User Stories using JIRA and CONFLUENCE for the Dev Teams
Cross-functional: Managing the Release management process with all parties (Business, Vendors, Tech Teams, etc)
Quality management including creating test cases and executing test cases if necessary
Limited UX/UI, creative design review and review coordination
UAT support
Facilitate testing, reviews, approvals for UAT, integration testing, end-to-end testing
Support launch and post-launch stabilization
Collaborate and coordinate communications with stakeholder departments at from Marketing, Information Technology and Vendor Partners
Interpret and communicate Business Requirements into actionable specs for development teams
Provide your Weekly task and status reports
Minimum 3-5 years as a Technical Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner in a fast paced work environment
Experience in Scrum with extensive knowledge of software application development, or related experience
Expert knowledge and experience with the software development life cycle
App Development experience preferred but not mandatory
Marketing and Website or .com project experience preferred
Automotive / ecommerce industry background is a huge plus
Bachelor’s degree (Software Development or IT) preferred; Product Owner/PMP/Scrum certification a plus
