About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our Brand Creative team. This net new role is being established to support our growing demand for video content across social, product, educational, and research initiatives. The Video Editor will report directly to the Video Creative Lead and work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Education, and Internal Communications.
You will play a key role in creating engaging video content that showcases our capabilities, supports product launches, and educates users on how to maximize our platform. This role requires someone who is both highly collaborative and capable of working independently, with a strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, accessible video content.
Key Responsibilities
Video Content Creation & Multi-Platform Support
- Edit high-quality video content across multiple formats and use cases, including social media, product demos, educational tutorials, research, and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging short- to medium-form videos that highlight product features and real-world use cases.
- Develop educational and instructional video content to help users understand and maximize product capabilities.
- Support major product launches and internal initiatives with impactful video strategies.
Creative Development & Brand Consistency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical features into accessible, audience-friendly video content.
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s authentic and approachable visual voice across all video outputs.
- Create video templates and frameworks for recurring content types across teams and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of video style guides and best practices across the organization.
Autonomy & Collaboration
- Own the video editing process from concept to final delivery with minimal oversight.
- Proactively manage deadlines, communicate blockers, and escalate strategic decisions when necessary.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Education, Internal Comms, Design, and Community teams to deliver content that meets organizational goals.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of professional video editing and content creation experience.
- Experience working in software development, SaaS, or tech companies.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Proven experience editing for social media, product, or educational content.
- Background editing technical product content (AI/ML, SaaS, or emerging tech preferred).
- Strong ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success creating video content for B2B SaaS or AI/ML companies.
