WHAT WE'RE SEEKING

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering direct, high-quality clinical care while overseeing nursing assistants assigned to each unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily visits to residents in your assigned unit to assess and monitor their physical and emotional well-being, promptly informing the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing of any changes in a resident's condition.
  • Recognize resident issues and emergency situations, taking immediate lifesaving actions when a physician is not available.
  • Deliver comprehensive care to residents within the boundaries of your LPN license.
  • Assist in tracking the inventory of medications, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate availability for resident needs.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as required.
  • Report any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous substances in line with the facility’s policies regarding accidents and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a current, valid state LPN license.
  • Current, valid CPR certification is required.
