The Gas Project Manager at Baron Contracting is a crucial team member responsible for managing and overseeing commercial and residential gas pipeline and infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent project management, leadership, and decision-making skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in adherence to safety and compliance standards. This role also entails job estimating.
This job can be performed from anywhere in the Bay Area. Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the full project lifecycle for gas infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed within the scheduled time frame and budget.
- Job estimating, bidding, performing pre-bid walks, and building proposals.
- Developing and implementing project plans, including workflows, timelines, and resources.
- Coordinating and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensuring all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Performing risk management procedures to minimize project risks.
- Facilitating problem-solving and decision-making activities related to project challenges and changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing gas or underground infrastructure projects.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies and strong knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
