Job DescriptionSummary:Our client is a leader in process solutions for the food and beverage industry. They are currently looking to add a Project Manager to their team. In this role this person would be responsible for providing leadership and guidance for the implementation of projects at customer facilities. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Engineering Manager with technical oversight of engineering and installation personnel for assigned projects.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with internal coordination of engineering, material ordering, and fabrication to keep assigned projects on schedule.
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and tracking their progress through the full life cycle of a project
- Ensure that contractual scope and specified requirements are being met.
- Monitor and track the fiscal progress of assigned projects
- Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Departments to provide technical review of proposals and preparation of Change Orders for assigned projects.
- Assist with technical and cost evaluation of proposals to customers
- Create and manage project schedules for assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or a two (2) year technical / Associate’s degree.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Three (3) years of experience in fluid system/equipment design
- Three (3) years of project management for construction or industrial process installation
- High level of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Project, AutoCAD).
