Restaurant General Manager – Hibachi Concept
Location: Staten Island, NY

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume hibachi-style restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for creating an engaging dining experience where entertainment and hospitality come together.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest service in a lively, interactive hibachi environment.
Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor controls to maximize efficiency.
Drive sales and profitability by monitoring financial performance, cost controls, and P&L management.
Ensure consistent execution of food quality, presentation, and service standards.
Handle guest concerns with professionalism, creating positive resolutions and repeat business.
Oversee hiring, training, and staff development to build a high-performing team.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with ownership/leadership on marketing, promotions, and special events to grow the business.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a General Manager in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
Hibachi or teppanyaki restaurant experience required.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage large teams.
Business acumen with experience managing budgets, financials, and cost controls.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
