A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, 2nd Shift or Overnight Shift, Pharmacy Technician in Northlake, TX!

As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will support prescription fulfillment operations, assist pharmacists, and ensure accuracy and efficiency across workflows.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $21.60/hr
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is
    • Option 1: Sun–Tue & Fri | 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Off Wed, Thu, Sat)
    • Option 2: Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri | 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Off Tue, Thu, Sat)
    • Option 3: Sun–Thu | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Off Fri, Sat)

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

  • Enter and process patient prescription data using our systems
  • Handle refill requests and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Troubleshoot missing or incorrect prescription information
  • Interpret SIG codes and resolve data entry exceptions
  • Operate automated dispensing and sorting machinery
  • Count, fill, label, pack, and ship prescriptions
  • Maintain workflow accuracy and quality control standards
  • Resolve third-party insurance rejections and resubmit claims
  • Support pharmacists and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED

· Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required)

· Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

· Basic computer and internet navigation skills

· Intermediate typing skills (25+ WPM)

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

· Flexibility to work assigned shifts
