Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational institution in Waterflow, NM is seeking a qualified Audiologist to provide on-call support to Special Education teams. This per diem position offers virtual work opportunities, allowing candidates to contribute remotely while supporting student hearing and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review audiology reports for Special Education teams to inform student support strategies.
- Assist in developing audiology-related goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as appropriate.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to address students' hearing and communication requirements.
- Provide consultation and guidance to support effective audiology services and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional and educator credentials in Audiology.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Navajo (Din) is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Position Details:
- Location: Waterflow, NM (virtual candidates preferred)
- Schedule: Per diem / on-call basis as needed
- Contract duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026
- Caseload: Minimal hours, primarily consultation and support
