Join our team as a CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist, where you will be setting up and running parts on CNC Mill/Lathe. This position primarily involves longer runs but requires changing out tooling, editing code at the control, cutting jaws, collets, and fixturing for turned parts. You will be responsible for loading and unloading parts into the machine and checking and deburring your own parts. Training is available for candidates, and tech graduates are recommended.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Mill/Lathe for part production.
- Change tooling and edit code at the control as needed.
- Cut jaws, collets, and fixturing for turned parts.
- Load and unload parts into the machine.
- Check and deburr parts to ensure quality.
Essential Skills
- Experience with machine shop operations.
- Proficiency in using CNC Mill/Lathe machines.
- Ability to work with blueprints and calipers.
- Understanding of tolerances and micrometre usage.
- Familiarity with Haas, Mazak, and Fanuc machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Tech degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 2+ years experience in setting up horizontal lathes is a plus.
- Extensive blueprint experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and organized, featuring separate rooms for assembly and machine shop processes. The standard hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility available after training. The dress code is casual, requiring close-toed shoes, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
