M-F (9a-6p - non-negotiable) and No Overtime.
・AP/AR, General Accounting duties
・Monitors expenses against department budget, maintains the comparison report for analysis
・Verifies incoming payable invoices and receipts and posts them into accounting system
・Assists with preparing and issuing scheduled payments via ACH, credit cards, e-checks etc. and files after completion
・Audits physical inventory of products, materials and assets
・Seeks constant improvement and more efficient means in work processes.
・Maintains good communication with Management, office staff members, and outside contacts.
・BA from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
・Min. 1-2 years in accounting role required
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
・Must have experience working with confidential documents, excellent organizational and communication skills, and is detail oriented with a high accuracy rate and analytical skills
・Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting
・Driver’s License
・Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23Kg)
