Position Summary:
Transcribes/types radiology reports from dictation system in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains dictating and transcription system. Ability to sit and transcribe for extended periods.
Position Qualification:
- HS graduate or equivalent.
- Typing skills of 70 plus words per minutes
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Must be self-motivated once job skills are learned and is able to work with minimal supervision.
