Shipping Yard Associate – Warehouse Yard Operations

Mid-Day to Evening Shift | Full-Time

We are currently hiring a reliable and hardworking Shipping Yard Associate to support daily operations at a busy warehouse facility in Brooklyn, NY.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and operating vehicles within a warehouse yard environment. The Yard Associate will be responsible for organizing trucks and trailers in the yard, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Move and position trucks, trailers, and vehicles throughout the yard safely and efficiently
• Organize the yard to ensure smooth traffic flow and operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly yard environment at all times
• Assist with directing incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Perform routine checks to ensure vehicles are parked properly and securely
• Support warehouse and operations staff with general yard duties as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Comfortable driving and maneuvering trucks/vehicles within a yard environment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Previous warehouse, yard, logistics, or outdoor labor experience is a plus
