Job Description
We’re partnering with a leading cultural nonprofit to hire a Freelance Sponsorship Content & Activation Associate to support post-sale sponsorship execution for a high-profile summer arts festival.This role works closely with Business Development and Strategic Partnerships leadership and is ideal for someone who thrives in live events, sponsorship activation, and cross-functional collaboration. Details:
- Freelance role: March–August
- Approx. 29 hours/week (schedule varies with events)
- $20/hour
- On-site presence required during activations and events, some weekends and nights required
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary on-site, client-facing lead for sponsor activations
- Execute sponsorship agreements and bring partner deals to life across live events
- Coordinate with marketing, social, PR, legal, operations, and programming teams
- Manage sponsorship deliverables, timelines, and data using Monday.com and related tools
- Support on-site events, custom activations, artist experiences, and hospitality programs
- Track performance and make real-time adjustments to optimize sponsor impact
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of experience in sponsorships, events, or marketing execution
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Comfort working in fast-paced, startup-like environments
- Professional, confident client-facing presence
- Passion for the arts and nonprofit sector
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
