Position Overview:
We are seeking an LG3 Welder to join our team onsite in Harmony, PA. This mid-level skilled trades role is responsible for performing advanced welding operations with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, can interpret detailed blueprints, and consistently meets production timelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced welding processes including MIG, TIG, and flux-cored arc welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols to execute precise welds
  • Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and fixtures independently
  • Fit and weld assemblies in plate positions (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G) and pipe positions (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G)
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards, codes, and specifications
  • Inspect completed welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques
  • Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines



Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding certification preferred
  • 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding
  • Pipe welding experience; certifications are a plus
  • Strong understanding of weld symbols and blueprint reading
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and complex assemblies
  • Knowledge of AWS, ASME, or similar industry standards
  • Ability to pass weld certification tests as required
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Proven troubleshooting ability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage time and meet production deadlines



Physical Demands:

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds
  • Frequent use of hands for tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, awkward positions, or elevated areas
  • Must wear required PPE including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, respirator, and protective clothing
  • Exposure to noise, heat, sparks, fumes, and other fabrication environment conditions
