In this role, the key responsibilities are…
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team. Foster a positive work environment rooted in teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including inbound and outbound order management, resource planning, and production scheduling to meet demanding timelines. Monitor Customer Care Centers to ensure high customer service standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Financial Management: Manage P&L responsibilities, including budget creation, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
- Performance Management: Define, track, and analyze operational KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making and achieve strategic objectives. Key Metrics are Remake Percentage, Rework Percentage, On-time Shipping, and Cases Per Labor Hour. Set quality standards and production goals and ensure goals are met by monitoring production, problem-solving production issues, and motivating employees.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and FDA guidelines for medical devices.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to the company's growth by optimizing operations and preparing the team for future expansion.
- Human Resource Management: Partner with HR on pay, staffing, and employee relations; ensure team follows company policies and procedures.
- Travel 1-2 days weekly to Tulsa location.
In this role, you’ll need to have…
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work history.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, problem solving, coaching, project management, and planning skills, preferred.
- Merger & Acquisition experience, a plus.
- Certified Dental Technician certification, a plus.
- Proven Leadership: A demonstrated history of successfully building, leading, and motivating teams.
- Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of operational KPIs and how to leverage them for strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Expertise in root cause analysis and a track record of deploying effective corrective actions.
- Regulated Environment Experience: Preferred experience in medical device manufacturing or other similarly regulated industries, with a strong understanding of GMPs and FDA compliance.
- Financial Savvy: Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Grit & Positive Attitude: A highly driven individual with a resilient and optimistic approach to challenges.
- Growth Mindset: A self-starter committed to continuous personal and professional development, actively seeking out new knowledge through books, podcasts, courses, or other avenues.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to groups, interact professionally with all levels of staff, and understand and explain procedures and technical details.
