Position Summary


The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations by preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers during procedures, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. Experience in a specialty practicevascular or vein care preferredor outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities


  • Greet patients warmly and prepare them for examinations
  • Obtain and document vital signs, patient concerns, and medical history in EMR
  • Assist providers with treatments and in-office procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout visits
  • Travel to satellite office locations as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Assist with scheduling diagnostic testing and laboratory services
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinical environment
  • Prepare injection solutions as directed
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, courteous, and patient-focused demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
