Our client is a smaller, but growing regional/international charitable organization looking for an Executive Director to provide the visionary leadership to move them to the next level. Fostering collaboration, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the organization's mission is properly carried out are keys to success in this position. Reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for:
- Developing fundraising strategies to include grant potentials and submissions
- Public and Community Relations
- Financial Management
- Strategic Leadership
- Staff Management, Development & Team Building
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field is highly preferred. Commensurate added experience will be considered in lieu of full degree
- 2-5 years experience in fundraising
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Grant writing experience
- Bilingual
- Able to travel into Mexico for special programs and projects
- Self motivated and have a high energy level
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills to oversee staff involved in the day to day operations
- Strong public relations and community relations skills
